Plug ReplayConnect into your tools

Your slots come in from SmartOF or Google Calendar, your LMS drives rooms through the API, and replays come back by webhook or in an iframe. Here is what exists today.

Last updated: 22 October 2026

Which tools does ReplayConnect connect to?

ReplayConnect imports your sessions from SmartOF and Google Calendar (synchronization every 10 minutes), is driven through a REST /v1 API with a Bearer key, sends a recording.ready webhook when a replay is ready, and fits into an LMS through two iframes: /meet for the video room, /embed/{recordingId} for the replay. Recording Google Meet meetings is not offered today, and recording.ready is the only webhook event.

Your slots arrive on their own

Keep your management tool. ReplayConnect reads your remote sessions and prepares the recording.

SmartOF

Connect your SmartOF account: your virtual classroom slots are imported and grouped into sessions. Synchronization runs every 10 minutes.

At the scheduled time, the bot joins the room and records.

Google Calendar

Connect your Google calendar with dedicated access. ReplayConnect reads your events every 10 minutes and can also push your sessions to Google Calendar.

ReplayConnect records sessions held in its own rooms. Recording Google Meet meetings is not offered today.

REST API /v1 to drive ReplayConnect from your LMS

Every call carries an API key as a Bearer token. The API is served at convex-site.illith.com.

ReplayConnect REST API routes
RouteWhat it does
POST /v1/eventsCreate a session.
GET, POST /v1/events/{id}Read or cancel a session (cancel at /cancel).
PATCH /v1/events/{id}Update a session.
POST /v1/roomsCreate a video room.
GET, POST, DELETE /v1/rooms/{id}Read, join or delete a room.
GET, POST /v1/recordings/{id}Read a replay and share it.
GET /v1/participants/replaysFind a participant’s replays by email or external reference.
GET, PUT /v1/workspace/embed-domainsRead and set the domains allowed to embed the player.

A webhook when the replay is ready

For rooms created through the /v1/rooms API, ReplayConnect sends a recording.ready event to the address you declared as soon as the replay is available. Your LMS can then show the replay without anyone having to look for it.

Embed the video room and replay in your LMS or website

Two iframes are enough. The video room opens at /meet, the replay at /embed. First declare the domains of your LMS or website through the API: only those domains can frame the player.

<iframe
  src="https://replayconnect.fr/embed/{recordingId}?t={token}"
  title="Session replay"
  allowfullscreen
  loading="lazy"
  style="width:100%;aspect-ratio:16/9;border:0"
></iframe>

The t parameter is a replay access token. For the video room, the address takes the form /meet?d=<room address>&embed=1.

What does not exist yet

  • Recording Google Meet meetings.
  • Webhook events other than recording.ready.
