What people ask us most

What is ReplayConnect?

ReplayConnect is a video tool for training providers. A bot joins your scheduled session, records it, then sends the replay and an AI summary to the participants. A Follow-up tab scores the session against teaching criteria.

Which training providers is it for?

For managers of training providers who run virtual classrooms all year, from a few trainers to around twenty. An independent trainer can also start with the Free plan.

How does automatic session recording work?

You schedule the session in ReplayConnect, or it comes in from SmartOF or Google Calendar. At the planned time, the bot joins the room and records. Afterwards, the replay is edited and the AI summary is generated, then participants receive an email.

Do my learners need to create an account to watch the replay?

No. Each participant receives a personal link by email that opens the replay without an account. They can create an account afterwards to find all their replays in one place.

Does ReplayConnect replace SmartOF or my management tool?

No. ReplayConnect handles neither quotes nor invoicing. It plugs into your management tool: the SmartOF connector imports your virtual classroom slots, and the REST API lets you link another tool.

Which tools connect to ReplayConnect?

SmartOF, Google Calendar, a REST API (/v1) with a key, a recording.ready webhook sent when a replay is ready, and embedding of the video room and the replay in your LMS or website through an iframe. Recording Google Meet meetings is not offered today.

Can we embed the video room and replays in our LMS?

Yes. The video room appears in one iframe (/meet) and the replay in another (/embed). Only the domains you declare through the API can embed the player.

Does ReplayConnect help me with Qualiopi?

It provides evidence, not compliance. For every remote session, ReplayConnect keeps a dated replay, an AI summary and teaching follow-up scores. It does not replace your attendance sheet or your quality system, and it does not guarantee compliance. Your auditor remains the only judge.

What exactly does the AI do, and can it be wrong?

The AI summarizes the session, extracts commitments and instructions, and supports the teaching follow-up scores. It can be wrong: review the summary before relying on it. A room that stayed silent gives an empty result, not invented text.

Where does session data go, and who processes it?

With six technical subprocessors: Convex for the database, Daily for video and recording, Bunny.net for video playback, OpenRouter for AI models, Resend for emails and Stripe for payment. Some may process data outside the European Union, so ReplayConnect does not claim that all data stays in Europe. The privacy policy details the framework.

Is the full transcript kept?

No. The full transcript is erased about one hour after the session starts. The video replay, the summary, the follow-up scores and the comments stay attached to the replay.

How long are my replays kept, and can I delete them?

Retention does not depend on your plan. An owner or administrator of the space can delete a replay at any time: the video and the associated data are then erased.

Can ReplayConnect record Zoom, Teams or Google Meet?

No. The bot records sessions held in ReplayConnect’s own video rooms. Recording Zoom, Teams or Google Meet meetings is not offered today. You can, however, show ReplayConnect rooms in your LMS through an iframe.

Is a replay enough as Qualiopi evidence?

No. The replay shows that a session took place, but it replaces neither the attendance sheet nor the assessment of what learners have learned. It completes your file with the AI summary, which you review, and the teaching follow-up scores. The details are on the Qualiopi page.

Is ReplayConnect an alternative to Zoom?

For recording training sessions, yes. ReplayConnect is a video room with recording, replay and AI summary built in, designed for training providers rather than large-audience webinars.

Can I download my replays?

Yes, one replay at a time: the download is on the replay page. There is no bulk export of all replays.

How much does ReplayConnect cost?

ReplayConnect is paid by recorded session hours per month, with unlimited trainers: Free (2 hours of recorded sessions per month), Solo (10 hours of recorded sessions per month), Team (40 hours of recorded sessions per month), Organization (120 hours of recorded sessions per month). Paid plans: Solo €49 per month excl. VAT, Team €149 per month excl. VAT, Organization €349 per month excl. VAT. Prices are excl. VAT (20% VAT added). No commitment. Cancel in one click. Your replays stay exportable. 14-day trial of the Team plan, no credit card. Afterwards your space automatically falls back to Free, without any data being deleted.

What happens if I go over my hours?

Beyond your quota, recording stops (the video call continues). You can buy a 10-hour pack for €35 excl. VAT, valid for 12 months. Overage billed by the hour (€3.90 excl. VAT) is available on request.

What happens at the end of the trial?

14-day trial of the Team plan, no credit card. Afterwards your space automatically falls back to Free, without any data being deleted. The Team plan features (teaching follow-up, connectors, API, logo) become read-only until you pick a plan.

Who built ReplayConnect?

ReplayConnect is built by ILLITH, a training provider, for training providers. ReplayConnect was built by ILLITH for its own training center, because it could not find a video tool that records sessions and connects them to its other tools through an API and webhooks.
